Action around Bethlehem Children with Disability

Improving the quality of life of children with disabilities across the West Bank

Al Arroub Refugee Camp

ABCD was approached by Al Arroub Refugee Camp Rehabilitation Centre for help and they have become our latest partner in 2019.

Jalazone Refugee Camp

Jalazone was one of the first refugee camps that ABCD partnered with. Now, it is a centre of excellence in the region, overcoming immense challenges.

Nur Shams Refugee Camp

Nur Shams, in the north of the country, rehabilitation services are provided to the most in need children with support for their families.

EIN BEIT AL MA'

ABCD's latest partner, Ein Beit al Mar' continues to grow from strength to strength with your help. Provision of rehabilitation and services and a safe space for families is vital for the community.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy is a powerful medium which helps children who may struggle to express themselves. With your support, more children can receive this creative therapy.

To raise funds to support the work of ABCD Bethlehem, we’re pleased to announce the launch of PalArt 2020, an online auction of original artworks by British, Palestinian and international artists.

To raise funds to support the work of ABCD Bethlehem, we’re pleased to announce the launch of PalArt 2022, an online auction of original artworks by British, Palestinian and international artists.

We are looking for small original works of art, framed or unframed—paintings, etchings, drawings, linocuts, embroideries, silhouettes. These can be donated anonymously or signed, with your biography (and link to your chosen website) featured on palart.org.uk. Online bidding for the artwork will open from July 1st.

The money raised will go towards ABCD Bethlehem’s work supporting children and their families in and around Bethlehem and at the three West Bank refugee camps where we help establish, equip and staff disability centres which are havens of peace and aid in a very troubled area. The need is pretty dire due to major cut-backs in UN funding. The charity is now in its 35th year of helping children.

If you can help, please let us know by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., completing the online form at palart.org.uk, or by phoning Anthony Glaister on +44 (0)7711 423649. Arrangements for posting or collecting the donated artworks will be supplied.

We appreciate that this is a big ask, and thank you so much for your support.
