Join ABCD Bethlehem at our 40th anniversary Service of Thanksgiving!
published: 9 March 2026

This summer, we’re coming together with our supporters for a special Service of Thanksgiving to celebrate an extraordinary milestone: 40 years of supporting children with disabilities in the West Bank and Gaza.
When: 6:30pm, 16 July 2026
Where: St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate, Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3TL
You’re warmly invited to join the ABCD team at the beautiful St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate for an evening of reflection, celebration, and community. The service will feature ABCD founder Val Jourdan and keynote speaker Sir Vincent Fean alongside other guest speakers, trustees, and long-standing supporters. Together, we’ll look back on four decades of vital work improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. Following the service, guests are invited to continue the celebrations at a reception in the adjacent church hall, with entertainment, food, wine, and plenty of good cheer!
Reem Kelani
We are very fortunate that on the evening we will be joined by Reem Kelani, acclaimed British-Palestinian singer, who will be opening and closing the service with songs of lament, reflection and hope.
We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a meaningful and joyful evening as we celebrate 40 years of ABCD’s impact and look ahead to the future together.
How to attend
Tickets are free, but spaces are limited to 150 guests, so we encourage you to reserve your place as soon as possible.
