Westcott & Leith Hill Circular Walk

Join us for this delightful walk of 9.5 miles – Saturday 20th September at 10am. Our starting point will be the village green in the charming the village of Westcott, on the A25 just west of Dorking, where we expect to find plenty of parking. Our halfway point will be Leith Hill, one of the highest points in SE England, from where you can see both London and Gatwick on a clear day.

Much has happened in Palestine in the past year but ABCD’s work continues to benefit hundreds of children with disabilities and their families in the West Bank. We hope at some point to operate in Gaza. Hope springs eternal and our walking together shows solidarity with our friends and colleagues in Palestine.

Please bring a picnic lunch. There is a café at Leith Hill, where we will make our main stop, serving drinks and ice cream. Those who wish to may climb the tower (78 steps) subject to NT membership or a fee. Dogs will be welcome – they remain the responsibility of their owner and may need to be on leads for at least part of the route. If you have an ABCD T-shirt, please wear it.
