Join supporter Andrew as he walks from North Yorkshire to Norfolk for children in Palestine

This Holy Week (26 March – 2 April 2026), supporter Andrew Laird will be undertaking a pilgrimage of 166 miles, which will cover a leg of ABCD’s 2,000-mile Palestine Relay.
Andrew’s walk will take him from Ampleforth Abbey in North Yorkshire to Walsingham in Norfolk. He will spend the week covering the 166 miles on foot as a pilgrimage to Our Lady of Walsingham, and supporters are warmly invited to join them for part of the route along the way.
Andrew will be logging his miles as part of our year-long challenge event, The Palestine Relay, where supporters are invited to sign up to cover a set number of miles of their choosing to help us symbolically reach Bethlehem – a journey of 2,000 miles.
